Major League Fishing

BIOGRAPHY

Nick Hatfield, a 30-year-old from Tennessee, has been passionate about fishing for as long as he can remember. His dream of becoming a professional angler began early, and he started by competing in local tournaments. Nick’s collegiate career on the Tusculum University team was marked by notable achievements, including eight top-25 finishes and a first-place victory at Lake Guntersville in 2017.

He has also made a significant impact in the Toyota Series, consistently finishing in the top 10 and earning checks in nearly all Northern Division events. Through his dedication and skill, Nick has advanced to the Bass Pro Tour, where he celebrated a major milestone with his first tour-level win on the Potomac River in 2023 and earned the Rookie of the Year title in 2022.

Beyond his fishing career, Nick runs a successful seamless guttering and siding business in his hometown. When he’s not competing on the road, he’s back home working alongside his team, building and growing his business.
